What are myBoard messages?

  • myBoard messages are real-time mobile app messages!
  • Students, Parent, and Directors can receive mobile app messages to their Apple and Android devices.


Do parents receive myBoard messages sent to their childs student group?

  • Yes! Just like emails, parents are CC'd on all myBoard messages sent to their childs student group.


How to I get the mybb mobile app?

  • Go to your custom myblueboard url login page.
  • Click on the link that corresponds with your mobile device manufacturer.


What url do I enter in the mybb mobile app on the login screen?

  • You will enter the prefix that is unique to your school/program.
  • Ex. If you custom url is "acmeband.myblueboard.com" then you will enter "acmeband" for your url.


What groups can I send myBoard messages to?

  • myBoard messages can be sent to any student and parent group!
  • However, you can only send a message to one group at a time.




Composing myBoard Messages



  1. Navigate to "myMessenger" > "Post 2 myBoard"
  2. Select a group.
  3. Enter a subject (max 30 characters)
  4. Enter a message (max 800 characters)
  5. Select the "Send" button to post the message

Messages posted to myBoard should be short since they do not open up in a separate page like emails do.


Clicking on a myBoard message shows it as read on the dashboard.
