Information We Collect

myblueboard collects only the minimum information necessary to provide our services to schools, districts, organizations, and their families.

All data entered into myblueboard belongs to the school, district, or organization. myblueboard acts solely as a service provider and does not claim ownership of any data.

The information we may collect includes:

Account & User Information
Names, email addresses, roles (such as Director, Booster, Parent, or Student), and organization or school affiliation, as provided by the school or organization.

Program & Administrative Data
Information entered by administrators to operate their program, such as rosters, groups, events, forms, fee assignments, and communications.

Payment Information
Payment details required to process fees, fundraising, ticketing, or shop purchases. Payment information is processed securely by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) and is not stored by myblueboard.

Usage & Technical Data
Basic technical information (such as logins and feature usage) used only to maintain platform functionality, security, and support.

We do not collect data for advertising purposes, behavioral profiling, or resale. We do not mine, sell, or monetize user data in any way.

Free 7-Day Trial

During the free 7-day trial, we collect only the information necessary to create and provide access to a trial account. No payment information is required during the trial period.

If a trial account is not converted to a paid subscription, the account will be deactivated and data retained for a limited period (up to 90 days) before secure deletion, unless otherwise requested.

Trial data is subject to the same privacy protections as paid accounts.

Information collected through the Services is used solely to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
• Create and manage user accounts
• Process payments and generate receipts (if applicable)
• Deliver operational communications such as system notifications and support responses
• Respond to customer inquiries
• Meet legal, contractual, or regulatory obligations

Information is not used for advertising, marketing, or non-educational purposes.

Prohibition on Data Mining, Commercial Monitoring, and Advertising

myblueboard does not engage in data mining, commercial monitoring, or behavioral profiling.

Specifically, we do not:

• Sell or rent personal data
• Use personal or student data for targeted advertising
• Build behavioral or marketing profiles
• Track users for non-service-related purposes
• Monetize engagement, usage, or activity data

Data collected through the Services is used solely to support platform functionality as directed by the school, organization, or account holder.

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be shared only with:

• Authorized school or organization administrators, as directed by account permissions
• Service providers that support platform operations (e.g., payment processing, email delivery), solely for the purpose of providing the Services
• Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law

All service providers are required to protect data and use it only for authorized purposes.

When myblueboard is used by schools or school-affiliated organizations, certain data may constitute education records.

Such data:

• Is collected and used solely for educational or administrative purposes
• Is not used for commercial purposes
• Is not retained beyond its intended use

myblueboard is designed to support compliance with applicable student data privacy laws, including state-level requirements that restrict data mining and commercial monitoring.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

While no system can guarantee absolute security, we take every appropriate measure to protect all data entrusted to us.

Users may:

• Access and update account information
• Request account deletion by contacting support@myblueboard.com
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data, subject to legal or contractual requirements

Requests related to student data may be subject to school or district authorization.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without appropriate authorization. If such information is discovered without proper consent, it will be deleted promptly.
